Bobble Rush
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
Last Updated: July 1, 2026
Welcome to Bobble Rush ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). We built Bobble Rush to collect as little about you as possible while still letting you compete on a live leaderboard. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why. By using Bobble Rush, you agree to the practices described here.
The first time you open the App, we generate a random identifier (a UUID) and store it on your device. It is not Apple's IDFA or IDFV, is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal identity, and cannot be used to identify you. It exists solely so your leaderboard score is recognized as "yours" across sessions.
If you submit a score, your chosen (or auto-assigned) display name and your best score are sent to our server and shown on the public leaderboard, tied only to your anonymous device ID above.
If you choose to put your own photo on the bobblehead, the App uses Apple's built-in photo picker, which only shares the single photo you select — the App never gets access to your full photo library, and iOS does not require us to ask for photo-library permission for this. That photo is saved only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. It leaves your device only if you choose to tap Share, which hands an image to Apple's native share sheet under your control — where you send it (Messages, TikTok, etc.) is entirely your choice.
Like any website or app server, ours briefly processes your IP address when your device connects, to prevent abuse (rate-limiting) and keep the service running. It is not stored long-term or linked to your identity.
Your coins, achievements, unlocked characters, streaks, and settings are stored locally in the App and are never transmitted anywhere.
To be explicit, since many apps do these things and Bobble Rush does not:
Your display name and best score are visible to other players on the public leaderboard. Please don't use personally identifying information as your display name. We filter submitted names against a blocklist of inappropriate terms, but no filter is perfect — if you see an offensive name, email us and we'll remove it.
Bobble Rush does not collect personal information from anyone, including children — there are no accounts, no email addresses, and no way for us to identify who is playing. If you believe a child has submitted an inappropriate display name or score, contact us at BobbleRushapp@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.
Your leaderboard entry (display name + score, tied to your anonymous device ID) is kept while it's relevant to the leaderboard. Because we don't have accounts, we can't look up your data by name or email — but you can request deletion at any time by emailing us your in-app display name and roughly when you played, and we'll remove the matching entry within 30 days.
Traffic between the App and our server is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but given how little we collect, there's very little to expose.
We do not sell or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies — we don't work with any. We may disclose information if required by law (for example, a valid court order), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bobble Rush, our users, or the public.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at BobbleRushapp@gmail.com.
Bobble Rush is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the US, your (minimal) data may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
